Driving Under Suspension & Expired Insurance Charges Dismissed

Jun 04 2014, by Michael Fienman in 2014, Case Results, June, Traffic Defense

An insurance broker in his early 20s was recently charged with driving under suspension and expired auto insurance in Montgomery County, which are summary offenses in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He was driving on a six-month driver’s license suspension after he had pled guilty to purchasing alcohol as a minor. This offense comes with a six-month suspension of driving privileges.

Our client had retained another attorney but was unsatisfied with how the other counsel was handling his case. He reached out to Michael Fienman to represent him in Montgomery County Magisterial District Court 38-1-23 for both citations. Michael was able to achieve a dismissal on both the driving under suspension and invalid insurance citations. The client successfully avoided an additional one-year driver’s license suspension and roughly $500 in court fines.
