Major Speeding Ticket Results in No-Point Violation

Jun 22 2015, by Michael Fienman in Case Results, Criminal Defense, Traffic Defense

Bucks County law firm Fienmen Defense recently helped a young woman who was pulled over after allegedly driving 23 MPH over the speed limit. Her case was heard in Bucks County Magisterial District Court 07-3-02. The repercussions for receiving a speeding ticket can result in serious consequences.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will add points to your driving record for alleged violations. If a driver accumulates six or more points, it can lead hundreds or even thousands of dollars more in car insurance premiums.

Once attorney Michael Fienman was hired to represent his client, he successfully changed the charge to having driven only five miles over the speed limit, which resulted in no points from PennDot. Only minimal fines were paid.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
