Plea Deal for Driving Under Suspension

Jun 09 2014, by Michael Fienman in 2014, Case Results, June, Traffic Defense

A man in his late 30s was recently charged with driving under suspension in Fleetwood, Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, he had failed to pay fines and costs on a previous driving under suspension conviction and this complicated matters even further. Michael Fienman represented him in Berks County Magisterial District Court 23-3-04 on the charge.

We were able to negotiate a plea deal on our client’s behalf. He ultimately pled guilty under 1501(a), but in doing so prevented himself from receiving an additional one-year license suspension. At the time of the hearing, his license was not reinstated due to the failure to pay previous fines and costs. Despite the situation, we were able to achieve a favorable outcome.
