Speeding In A School Zone Citation Withdrawn For Philadelphia Doctor

Aug 16 2016, by Michael Fienman in Case Results, Traffic Defense

A young doctor from Philadelphia was recently driving through Lower Merion on his way to work when he was pulled over and charged with speeding in a school zone. While this four-point traffic violation is significant by itself, in Pennsylvania if you are convicted of two speeding in a school zone violations within two years, a driver can face a mandatory license suspension. When the man learned of this little known, but severe penalty, he became very concerned with removing the school zone infraction from the ticket. To protect his driving privileges, he spoke with the well-practiced Pennsylvania traffic attorney Michael Fienman.

Attorney Fienman was well aware of the ramifications his client was facing and knew that he could help. Fienman discussed the case with the officer involved and effectively convinced him to not only withdraw the speeding in a school zone infraction, but also the speeding ticket entirely. Due to attorney Fienman’s skilled representation, this young doctor received a refund of the money he provided to the court as collateral and was excused from further concern, preventing any damage to his driving record.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
