Allegheny Avenue Solicitation Charge Expunged

May 22 2020, by Michael Fienman in Case Results, Criminal Defense, Sex Crimes

We recently helped an Ethiopian man when he was charged with criminal solicitation and patronizing prostitutes in a sting operation on Allegheny Avenue. Apparently, he was driving down the street, when a female undercover officer made a comment to him from the corner.

According to our client, he did not actually hear what she asked, but simply replied cordially. The next thing he knew, four Philadelphia police officers pulled him from his vehicle and arrested him.

As a married man with children and immigration concerns, these charges put him in significant jeopardy despite insisting that he did nothing wrong. Fortunately, attorney Michael Fienman found the best possible option, which was a program aimed and dealing with these offenses quickly and discretely.

Attorney Fienman enrolled in the program, which consisted of a therapy session and a few hundred dollars in court costs. Once these conditions were met, Fienman arranged to have the charge expunged. As a result, he could move on without any immigration problems or lasting damage.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
