What should have been a fun family outing turned into a legal headache for one client when her mother-in-law allegedly stole a dog from the Philadelphia SPCA. The client was unaware the animal had been taken, and although it was returned unharmed, she was charged with two counts of conspiracy, receiving stolen property, and animal cruelty.

Attorney Fienman convinced the prosecutor of his client’s innocence and got the case withdrawn in exchange for her completion of nominal community service hours. Later, Fienman was able to have the case expunged.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
