A 53-year-old woman from Allentown, Pennsylvania was wrongly accused and charged with hit-and-run. The serious charge came after her daughter and daughter’s boyfriend went to a Phillies game. Following the game, the two most likely under the influence of alcohol, were involved in a car accident that inflicted bodily injury upon the occupants of the vehicle that was struck. The daughter and daughter’s boyfriend fled the scene. Because the mother’s car was involved in the accident, the mother was charged. Our client was not involved but received a ticket for leaving the scene of an accident. A call to Philadelphia law firm Fienman Defense was made. Fienman, knowing this would this charge would take a significant hit to her record if convicted, successfully beat the hit-and-run charge. The mother saw no further penalties or consequences as a result.
The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
