Attorney Michael Fienman was retained by the family of a young woman who was being harassed by private investigators and police to participate in a high profile trial. The woman in question did not want to be involved and asked to be left alone. But authorities continued to pressure her and threatened to issue a subpoena forcing her to testify.

Attorney Fienman intervened and explained to all those involved that his client would not be a cooperative witness. Therefore, forcing her to appear would be counterproductive to the case. Because of his efforts, she did not have to go through the trauma and aggravation of being a witness at the trial.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
