A junior at Villanova University was charged with public drunkenness and possession of alcohol. The 20-year-old college student was worried about the potential ramifications on his record if convicted, as he would be applying for jobs in the very near future. The student took his concerns to Philadelphia defense attorney Michael Fienman.

After reviewing his case, Michael Fienman knew it would be in his client’s best interest to get him into a diversionary program with the great likelihood of the charge being expunged from his record. With a short period of community service and enrollment in an alcohol class, the case was dismissed. Soon after, his expungement of these charges were finalized. Our client was grateful that this one time mistake would not affect his job application process as he finished school.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
