We recently helped a Horsham Township man who was arrested on charges of simple assault and harassment following an altercation with his girlfriend who lived with him in his apartment. The man allegedly shoved and struck his girlfriend in the face causing a black eye during an argument that was loud enough to disturb the neighbors who called the police. The altercation caused the couple to end their relationship and the young woman moved out of the defendant’s apartment.
The man was concerned about what would happen. He and his former girlfriend owned a business together, and a no contact order had been issued between the two individuals. He sought the help of Horsham Township criminal lawyer Michael Fienman, who was able to have the no contact order lifted so the pair could continue their business relationship. Following additional negotiations with the Commonwealth, Michael was able to get all charges against the client dismissed with no fines or costs to the court. The man is eligible for an expungement of all charges from his record.
