A photographer in his mid-20s was visiting Philadelphia from Harrisburg, PA when he was arrested for criminal trespassing after being caught taking pictures by climbing on Walt Whitman Bridge – which is illegal due to reasons of national security, even though no trespassing signs were posted.

The client was charged by the Port Authority of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, who maintains jurisdiction over the bridges. To avoid more serious charges, the photographer allowed his camera to be confiscated and the photos on that camera, deleted.

When the photographer contacted Delco criminal law firm Fienmen Defense, attorney Michael Fienman carefully analyzed all the details involving the case and ultimately achieved a positive outcome for his client.

After having the case heard in the Philadelphia Municipal Court, attorney Fienman successfully entered his client into a summary diversion program. Upon completion of a four-hour class, his client’s charge was expunged and a criminal record was avoided.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
