Not long ago, Philadelphia traffic lawyer Michael Fienman was contacted after a car accident involving only property damage put a man’s license and driving record at risk. Since the accident only harmed his car and damaged a road sign, the client initially put the sign back in place and left the scene. Police eventually contacted the individual and charged him with failure to report the accident and careless driving which is a three-point violation. Attorney Fienman aggressively worked to alleviate the man’s concerns and arranged for a favorable plea agreement. The major violation of failing to report an accident was withdrawn and the man plead guilty to a lesser infraction that carried zero points and a fine totaling approximately $150.
