Driving on DUI Suspension Withdrawn

May 28 2019, by Michael Fienman in Case Results, DUI

Pennsylvania takes license restrictions after a DUI seriously, and violations are normally punished harshly. There is a mandatory minimum sixty-day license suspension for driving on a DUI suspended license. However, when one of Mr. Fienman’s prior DUI clients were stopped after running a red light, the officer discovered that he was driving on a DUI suspended license. As the DUI lawyer who initially handled his case, Fienamn knew the details of the man’s situation and was ideally placed to help.

While the man had turned his life around since the original DUI, he still needed to drive for work. This wasn’t lost on attorney Fienman, who fiercely negotiated for his client. By guiding him in ways that he could improve his situation and providing high-level advocacy, after a number of court appearances over a period of months, the prosecution withdrew the driving under DUI suspension charge. No jail time for this repeat client.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
