False ID Charges Dismissed After Center City Sips Event

Dec 26 2018, by Michael Fienman in Alcohol, Case Results, Criminal Defense

At a Center City Sips event over the summer, a young woman used a fake ID to purchase a drink and was ultimately approached by a Pennsylvania State Police undercover liquor patrol officer. This resulted in her being charged with underage drinking and possession of a fake ID. To protect her record from any ill effects, the young woman decided to contact Philadelphia defense lawyer Michael Fienman. With a considerable background handling underage offenses across the Pennsylvania and New Jersey, he arranged for his client to be admitted into a diversionary program where the charges would be dismissed and automatically expunged once she completed an informational class and paid a $200 fine.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
