Major Speeding Violation of 31 MPH Over Reduced For Out-Of-State Resident

Feb 29 2016, by Michael Fienman in Case Results, Traffic Defense

Speeding citations are common offenses seen at Fienman Defense. More recently, an out-of-state driver was caught driving 35 mph over the legal speed limit of 55 mph, a five-point offense. For Pennsylvania drivers, exceeding the speed limit by 31 mph or more results in an automatic license suspension and a required PennDOT hearing. The New Jersey resident took his serious speeding violation to Philadelphia criminal defense attorney Michael Fienman.

Utilizing his positive relationships with the Philadelphia court system and extensive background in speeding infractions, attorney Michael Fienman successfully negotiated a plea to the lesser offense of 10 mph over for his client. The man saw the addition of only two points on his New Jersey record and after paying a fine of approximately $150, saw no further penalties.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
