Muscle Car Driver Sees Reduction for Reckless Driving

Aug 05 2016, by Michael Fienman in Case Results, Traffic Defense

Not long ago, an American muscle car enthusiast was pulled over on I-95 near the Philadelphia airport, while he was driving a souped-up Dodge Charger. The officer documented that the man was tailgating, had cut off several other cars, and was traveling at speeds of almost 100 miles per hour. As a result, the officer cited the driver for reckless driving, which is a very serious traffic offense in Pennsylvania, carrying the addition of five points on your license and a mandatory 6-month license suspension. With a fondness for the open road, the man wanted to protect his ability to drive, so he retained Philadelphia traffic attorney Michael Fienman.

With extensive experience handling traffic related cases throughout Philadelphia and its surrounding areas, attorney Fienman began working on this man’s behalf. He successfully negotiated to reduce the reckless driving violation to careless driving. While the man would see the addition of three points on his license, this automobile aficionado would not need to worry about a license suspension, so he could continue cruising.
