Nursing Student Given ARD After a DUI

Sep 11 2020, by Michael Fienman in Case Results, Criminal Defense, DUI, Professional Defense

A nursing student was recently charged with her first DUI. With the help of DUI attorney Michael Fienman, she was approved for the ARD program, which will result in expungement if she fulfills all the ARD conditions, including 12-months of probation.
Attorney Fienman also worked to anticipate any adverse action by the state nursing board for the DUI.

The woman had the choice to wait until the matter was expunged or take her chances with a DUI on her application. Ultimately, the client decided to proceed with licensing before the charge was expunged. As a result of attorney Fienman’s work, she likely will get a conditional license and merely required to participate in a substance abuse monitoring program.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
