Reckless Driving Violation Dismissed to Save a Man’s License

Feb 14 2017, by Michael Fienman in Case Results, Traffic Defense

Recently, a man was pulled over in Willow Grove for going 32 miles per hour over the posted speed limit on Old York Road. Due to his excessive speed and erratic driving, the man’s legal troubles exceeded a normal speeding ticket. Instead, he found himself cited for reckless and careless driving, which are not only point violations in Pennsylvania, but a reckless driving violation would also result in a six-month suspension of his driver’s license. To escape the difficulties associated with the loss of his driving privileges, he decided to speak with the accomplished Philadelphia traffic attorney Michael Fienman. Attorney Fienman achieved the client’s desired result by efficiently negotiating with the court to dismiss the reckless driving offense. By having the charges amended, the man would only need to pay a small fine as well as have three points added to his record, but no longer needed to worry about a lengthy and inconvenient license suspension.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
