Soliciting a Prostitute Expunged to Avoid Immigration Worries

Feb 04 2019, by Michael Fienman in Case Results, Sex Crimes

While any criminal charge is something that most people want to avoid, some require rapid and discreet assistance to prevent undue complications. Attorney Fienman recently assisted a green card holder after he was charged with a soliciting a prostitute. This was undoubtedly a humiliating experience that exposed him to a criminal conviction and possible time in custody, but as someone hoping to apply for citizenship, the man was mostly worried about keeping his record clear. To provide peace of mind, attorney Fienman worked to deal with the matter as quickly and quietly as possible and facilitated his admittance into ARD. Once his client completed the terms of the program, the solicitation charge was expunged, and he could continue with the immigration process with a clear criminal record.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
