Student Facing Underage DUI Charges with License Suspension Enters ARD Program

Jun 16 2015, by Michael Fienman in Case Results, Criminal Defense, DUI, Traffic Defense

An exchange student studying at Drexel University was accused of a DUI as a minor while driving with a suspended license. As a minor, the student was facing increased penalties for the accusations against him.

Once the case was heard by Philadelphia DUI attorney Michael Fienman, he succeeded in enrolling his client into the Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition (ARD) program.

In Pennsylvania, certain criminal records can be expunged if specific criteria are met. Because this particular student was successfully enrolled in the ARD program, he may have the opportunity to have his record expunged after he is 21 and only if all the conditions of his sentence are met.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
