In the state of Pennsylvania, there is a statue for the Department of Revenue allowing them to write motor vehicle tickets for commercial trucks that don’t have correct tax stamps labeled on their vehicle. Recently in southeastern Pennsylvania, a man in his 40s purchased a new trailer from a company in Texas. The trailer was custom designed to his specifications but was labeled improperly. Soon after, his vehicle was inspected and found with inaccurate labeling on his trailer – an unintentional error made by the body building company. Philadelphia attorney Michael Fienman received a call from the man, looking for legal support.

Our client received a few tickets based on this error, with the major offenses being requirements for commercial driver’s license and road tax marker required. Both were $600 tickets. In court, Fienman strongly argued on behalf of his client for each ticket to be thrown out. All of the tickets were forgiven, with the exception of one. Our client pled guilty to this ticket and owed only $100.
