Underage Drinking Charge Dismissed for St Joe’s University Student

Feb 19 2018, by Michael Fienman in Alcohol, Case Results, Juvenile Crimes

Recently, attorney Fienman represented a Saint Joseph’s University student, who was charged with underage drinking for walking from her residence to a party while carrying a wine glass. As a starting varsity athlete with a lot of prospects, she was very concerned about how this would affect her long-term goals, but by retaining an attorney with an extensive background in helping young people, who’ve made lapses in judgment, Fienman arranged for her entry into a diversion program. By participating in the program, attending a class and paying a $200 fine, she obtained a dismissal and is eligible for an expungement. After this, the young woman can confidently avoid disclosing the matter on any future applications.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
