Excessive Speeding In A Residential Area Reduced To A Zero Point Infraction

May 06 2016, by Michael Fienman in Case Results, Traffic Defense

A woman in Horsham, PA was recently pulled over in a residential area and was subsequently charged with excessive speeding for going 25 miles over the 25 mile per hour limit. In Pennsylvania, this is a four-point offence and can result in a significant increase in someone’s insurance rates. The woman was worried about the effect this would have on her driving record and insurance premiums so she retained the Montgomery County traffic attorney Michael Fienman to assess any possible alternatives.

Attorney Michael Fienman discussed the case with the officer and was able to negotiate the excessive speeding violation reduced to driving five miles over the speed limit, which does not result in points. As a result of obtaining legal advice from Michael Fienman, the client saw no undesirable ramifications on her driving record.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
