Case Results

A mother in her forties was recently cited for public drunkenness, which would have negatively impacted her record and complicated her ability to chaperone her children’s various events. To effectively deal with the situation, attorney Michael Fienman tried to enroll his client into a magisterial district judge diversion program for first -time offenders. However, the judge assigned to the case denied his request and found the mother of two guilty without batting an eye. Undeterred, attorney Fienman appealed what he believed to be an unfair result for his client. This led to a new round of negotiations, where, on appeal, Fienman convinced the prosecutor to withdrawal the charge entirely. This ultimately allowed for to a total expungement, and despite the initial conviction, the entire incident has now been erased.
