A small grocery in the city of Chester faced serious and potentially career-ending allegations for trafficking in food stamps and other Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) violations by the administrative agency that oversees the program (USDA).

Attorney Michael Fienman compiled documentation refuting the allegations and presented it to the agency. As a result, the matter was closed without adverse action against the grocery’s food stamp permit and the USDA declined to further prosecute the case.

The grocery could continue with this vital part of their business because they wisely chose to defend themselves with help from attorney Fienman, who handled the bureaucratic paperwork and advocated for them.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
