Early Termination of Probation in Prior Assault Conviction

Feb 27 2019, by Michael Fienman in Assault & Domestic Violence, Case Results

Several years ago a man in Philadelphia pled guilty to a simple assault and reckless endangerment for a negotiated sentence of four years of probation. In the three years that followed, he completed many of the terms and conditions, but was having trouble finding suitable work and his ability to travel was seriously limited. To improve his situation and hopefully visit his ill mother, he contacted Fienman Defense. Attorney Fienman filed a motion to terminate his sentence early, and by highlighting his accomplishments and rehabilitation, he successfully achieved the desired result. With the remainder of his sentence excused, the man was now free to travel and seek better employment.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
