No Professional License Suspension and Early ARD Termination after DUI

Jun 11 2018, by Michael Fienman in Case Results, DUI

When a social worker was recently charged with DUI, the outlook at first looked very bleak: criminally and professionally. To preserve his career and with hopes of avoiding the stark criminal consequences attached to a first offense DUI, this individual contacted Philadelphia DUI lawyer Michel Fienman. Immediately, attorney Fienman set to work on his client’s behalf and handled the process from start to finish, which was especially important considering this clients’ keen interest in preserving his previously clear criminal record.

Despite the exposure to his professional credentials, attorney Fienman worked to ensure there would be no negative impact and his client was able to continue working uninterrupted. Additionally, attorney Fienman facilitated his entry into a 12 month ARD program, and because of the client’s stellar participation and the counsel he received, the man’s ARD term was terminated early after merely four or five months, which is practically unheard of.

Once the requirements of the ARD were met, attorney Fienman personally handled the filing of his client’s expungement. This expedited the process considerably and rather than waiting up to a year for the District Attorney to expunge the record, the client’s complete expungement was finalized in less than a month.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
