Old DUI Warrant Resolved to Save a Man’s CDL

Nov 27 2019, by Michael Fienman in Case Results, DUI

Not long ago, a man living out of state contacted Attorney Fienman when an incident from 2012 in Schuylkill County put him in serious legal jeopardy. The man who makes a living as a truck driver was previously charged for a drug-related DUI in a work vehicle, hit and run, and careless driving. Unaware of the warrant, he left the area and turned his life around. Now, despite years of no legal trouble, he was looking at significant prison time and the almost guaranteed loss of his CDL.

Attorney Fienman fought to protect the life that his client had built for himself, and find the best possible result. By negotiating with the prosecutor, attorney Fienman arranged to have the DUI and all the other charges dismissed in favor of a plea to disorderly conduct. The man kept his CDL, his job, and was spared from years behind bars.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
