Philadelphia Traffic Charges Result in No Points

Nov 11 2020, by Michael Fienman in Case Results, Traffic Defense

Recently, the Pennsylvania State Police ticketed a driver for excessive speed (31 mph over the limit), failure to use a turn signal, following too closely, and passing on the right. The man was facing points on his license, mandatory license suspension, and additional administrative penalties through PennDOT.

Attorney Michael Fienman successfully negotiated the speeding ticket down to just 5 miles over the speed limit. This simple reduction eliminated the risk of points and suspension. He also got the other citations amended to non-moving violations.

In the end, the driver only had fines to pay and no negative impact on his license. This outcome also undoubtedly saved him from considerably increased insurance premiums as well.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
