Second Offense DUI Dismissed in Philly

Jul 13 2018, by Michael Fienman in Case Results, DUI

Philadelphia DUI attorney Michael Fienman represented a client after a single car accident resulted in him being charged with driving under the influence. Apparently, the vehicle sideswiped a retaining wall and bounced off a guardrail on the opposite side of the street. Paramedics were at the scene first and found the man passed out in his girlfriend’s vehicle. They revived him and transported the man to the hospital where he refused DUI blood testing. As a second offense, this exposed him to a possible 30-day sentence and 12-month license suspension. In addition to other DUI penalties he was facing, the man was also looking at an 18-month license suspension for refusing the blood test.

Attorney Fienman reviewed the matter and developed the strongest possible defense based on several unique factors in the man’s case. Just before trial, attorney Fienman was able to have the case dismissed.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
