Diversion and Expungement for Summary Disorderly Conduct

Jun 04 2019, by Michael Fienman in Case Results, Criminal Defense, Disorderly Conduct

While some crimes are more severe than others, summary offenses can complicate your life in various ways. They are expensive, potentially embarrassing, and can negatively affect a job search. Not long ago, attorney Fienman assisted a young man who was issued a summary offense for disorderly conduct for allegedly causing a disturbance outside of a bar. To effectively and permanently deal with a situation that only arose because he drank a little too much one night, he retained Philadelphia defense attorney Michael Fienman.

With considerable experience helping clients get second chances, attorney Fienman negotiated to have the young man admitted to a summary diversion program. By completing a diversion class and paying a small fine, this client could have his case dismissed and expunged from his record, making it easy to move on.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
