Reduced Charge For New Britain Township Man After Cutting off Philadelphia Police Officer In Road Rage Case

Feb 16 2016, by Michael Fienman in Case Results, Traffic Defense

Bucks County criminal defense attorney Michael Fienman recently represented a man from New Britain Township in a road rage case after receiving a citation for careless driving. The man, allegedly cutting off another vehicle, rolled down his window, and screamed obscenities at the other driver. Unbeknownst to him, the other driver was a Philadelphia police officer.

In apparent trouble, the man hired Philadelphia criminal defense attorney Michael Fienman. During a court appearance, Fienman fought persistently and negotiated a deal, successfully reducing the careless driving charge down to a zero point non-moving violation carrying only a minimal fine. The man and the Philadelphia police officer shook hands before they left the courthouse.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
